Thanx for tagging me, dear
I didn't participate as I thought one has to r e a d the books and that is something, I hardly achieve with the work I've to do.
However, now, if I understood the 1st post right, also audiobooks count and t h a t is something I regularly do (listening to the reading of books). The only problem I see is the page count as audio-books work with time stamps. How do I've to deal with that according to the premises of the contest?
Sorry missed this message!
So for Audiobooks - if you finish it, you log the same number of pages as in the Kindle ebook (it was paperback earlier but I amended it because I want to keep all electronic formats the same)
If you don’t finish or are halfway through at the start or end of the month, then you keep track of number of hours you listened to the audiobook and log the pgs as 40 pages per hour at 1x speed. If your audible (or other app) gives you a percentage completed, then just use that number to calculate how many physical pages it would amount to from the ebook version.
For eg, if the ebook is 300 pages and you’ve read (listened to) 50% of the audiobook, then you would log 150 pages. Does that make sense?
Let me know if you’d like to join the challenge and how many books I can put you down for.
