RCB have had a very peculiar run this season as they boast of a 100 percent win record away from home, and a 100 percent loss record at home. PBKS, on the other hand, have done well either way and are one of the four teams who are tied on 10 points at the top of the table.

2.30pm local: Less than two days after facing each other at the Chinnaswamy, PBKS and RCB meet again, this time in New Chandigarh. This will be the final game to be held at this venue this season as the Punjab Kings will shift base to Dharamsala for their remaining home matches. The pitches over here have been quite a mixed bag. We had over 400 runs scored in one of the games, while in the very next game a target of 112 was successfully defended. Let's see what is on offer today...

Samir D: "When teams clash again within 48 hours in the IPL, it's less a cricket match and more a rapid-fire chess rematch. Expect plenty of dƩjƠ vu with a twist -- bowlers will sharpen their plans, batters will pre-empt the traps, and captains will be second-guessing themselves and each other. Momentum from the first game matters, but so does who blinks first with their tactics. It's like watching a movie sequel... but with better plot twists (and hopefully fewer dropped catches). "

Mustafa Moudi: "Really happy about Tim David Winning the Player of the Match award despite being from the losing side. The Player of the Match Award must be given to the player for an outstanding performance irrespective of results !!"

PBKS, on the other hand, have done well either way and are one of the four teams who are tied on 10 points at the top of the table. They're high on confidence with most of the players in good form with the bat. The only point of concern are the overseas batters, none of whom have really fired on all cylinders. They left out Maxwell at the Chinnaswamy, while persisting with Inglis. Let's see if there are any changes on the cards today. Arguably, RCB have even more pressing concerns with Livingstone having a string of failures.

Some of the players are out practicing, Marco Jansen has bat in hand. Maybe he'll get a bat today. Glenn Maxwell was out for the last game, will he return or will Stoinis continue? RCB are likely to bring back Devdutt Padikkal at No. 3, will there be other surprises though? And how will the pitch play? Lest we forget, PBKS were all out for 110 and defended it by 15 runs in their last game here.
