There were a lot of scenes with Usama
Plus there is no such chemistry to begin it
It's not Ahmed or wahaj whom we can see again and again
Also I wanted to see her with Ahad and obi
Yumna deserves an actor who delivers dialogue with no accent or mumbling tones. The action reaction doesn't come across when the other one is not on par with her. Look at Bilal, Wahaj, Ahmed and even with Usama tahir in dar so jati ha sila with her..zahid Ahmed and Sami Khan...these two were her og pair and both Sami and zahid are brilliant.
Nameer and Yumna had fire and I mean fire. After TB I felt this level of Angst. Just chemistry. Melting ore. So different. This dynamic is one I will not forget. Top tier. Chemistry only doesn't have to be romantic Happy ending....it can be tragic...it can be passionate...it can be disturbing....but what it is..is undeniable. They had us at the first cafeteria scene. It is very hard to impress me. Last time there was unexpected fire chemistry was in Anaa between Usman Mukhtar and izza. It's been 5-6 years and we still remember. It's not about a pairing or ending...it is their space, dynamics and action reaction.
I do not agree with people who say that don't compare actors with one another . Chemistry is organic and cannot forced. I like Usama as a person from what I have seen in IVs. Seems friendly and humble. But I'm sorry...Usama has been here for 8 years. His dialogue delivery is a problem. There is so much mumbling and words are eaten up. He has one or two expressions in total and mostly messes it up in scenes which requires him to step up and show a range of emotions. His confession and breakdown was no different then him giving advice scenes (Nameer has issues with his urdu but the last 4 episodes every single emotion came across- pain, shame, frustration, hate, self hate, liberation, madness, quest to fulfill the words of his dad about how useless he is and he is indeed an out of control individual...the hurt..regret.. realization..)
Usama on the otherhand appeared very casual. Zero change in facial expressions! Their pairing as Nashwa burhan had huge potential and lots of timing but it didn't work that well..not bad but not great... people like Burhan ( an incredibly well written character with shades) but there would have been a greater impact had any other actor played the role.
The only people who want Yumna Usama are a few. 30-35 Yumna Usama fans on X who each post 100 posts in a week hyping the pair and their reviews are so biased that one stares in shock. Their huge number of posts and trending makes them look large in number but they're actually in minority. Many are Usama fans or a pairing stans girls who want to milk Yumna for all that she is worth. This is not good for her career even if she is well established. I'm okay with personal choice. People are welcome to like Usama Yumna pairing but please look at the neutral reactions and facts. Ship or want their drama..that's fine but do not claim this is an epic pair like Fawad Sanam b or Yumna Wahaj. (Saying this triggers them..)
Now, there is no guarantee that Nameer and Yumna will be fire next time. It depends on script, character and so much more. I remember Maya obi after Diyar e dil...they did a drama right after due to insane popular demand and it was bad! So, no guarantee.
I hope Nameer works on his urdu. The Punjabi accent is off putting as per character requirement. Otherwise he is looking good with the presence and aura.
