So true from last season he clearly mentioned I am done with captaincy let Rutu do that job I'll enjoy my last phase of career but wahi karna pada raha hain

Csk is again repeating the same mistake of not finding Msd substitute

I hope ab playing xi main change ho qualification ka sapna toh sapna reh jayega ab main may be players intrest dikhake thoda khelenge ur jeetengw toh achha

But the blames trolls he is going to get

YOU DON'T GO AGAINST HIM. HE IS THE CHOOSEN ONE. If you want he will stay away but if you go against his wish this is what will happen.

Ask The saviour of Cricket for previous experiences. smiley37

Or watch the last ball celebrations of 2023 and listen to Ian Bishop.

Ina way it is good .the captaincy was real bad in the last match. He didn't even bowl full quota of overs of noor and Ashwin he gave all the 4 overs .

It's pitch number 7 for today, right at the centre and the square boundaries are at 64m each, the straight boundary is 73m. There was a shower earlier today, but it was just a small drizzle. The wicket looks like a beauty, few patches of grass, it does look dry, they've put a lot of heavy roller on this surface, so there should be plenty of runs on offer. Last year, there was a 200-run game on this wicket, good luck to the bowlers, reckon Danny Morrison and Varun Aaron, in their pitch report.

Ashish, eagle-eyed in the press box, tells me that Mukesh, Mohit and Starc have marked their run-ups. If this pitch also offers early movement, like the one against the Gujarat Titans did, these three pacers could play a vital role.

Faf du Plessis looks set to feature after missing the opening game due to a groin strain. He was one of the first few DC players to arrive and looks untroubled as he goes through the warm-up sessions. Du Plessis has a terrific record at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium where he was captain for three years. He is the fourth-highest run-getter with 651 runs in 17 innings at an average of 46.50 and a strike rate of 161.94. He has also shown decent form in the two innings so far this season, with scores of 29 and 50.

The Capitals have looked like the team to beat this season. But RCB have not been far behind, even though they have lost their only game at home so far. What is in store for us tonight then?

Prasanna : "Shashwat - is this bat first or chase wicket? " -- At the Chinnaswamy Stadium, teams have tended to lean towards chasing, especially because this is such a hard ground to defend. And with grass patches and a heavily-rolled surface, don't think that will change tonight.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar - Not extremely happy, but not bad. I think I can do a lot better with the way the ball is coming out (of my hand), but there is room for improvement. I'm trying to swing the ball in the nets, here the new ball swings initially, nothing in particular, but I'm working to try and get to my best. Really enjoying it, I haven't felt like I am in a new team, the support I've got from the team and the management has been incredible. We lost the last match we played here, but the way we've played the three matches away, we want to do the same things, don't want to do anything special, just do the basics right and hopefully we'll end up on the positive side (of the result)
