That dark saree was cringe ..why force such things..one year of grieving is imp and necessary. It is said that after the one year shradh the soul moves to afterlife into the assembly/ group of his ancestors. Liberation of the soul to afterlife. Again don't discuss this as crap ..the science behind first year they are grief attacks, guilt attacks , inability to accept reality when shock reduces .. slowly post a year peep move towards normal ( mostly spouse parents grand parents and children need that one year).
