I dont think People are saying his behaviour is wrong. Both are correct from their own point of view as you have mentioned. The issue is he is not even letting her complete her statement or letting her share the issues with him. He just starts loosing his temper. And this is not the 1st time, pehle bhi kia hai aisa.

About the necklace, yes she should have given to the police before but as she stated earlier so many thing were happening parallely that she completely forgot about this crucial evidence. And honestly even if she had provided it to the police then we all know what would have happened. ARS would have twisted the entire matter, bribed the police & instead get Mannat arrested for false/incorrect evidence.

And if she had shown the necklace to Vikrant, toh bhi woh believe nai karta. As for him the matter is already closed and aaj ka outburst tab bhi hota Mannat pe. Mannat knows what she is doing. She is taking every step in a calm manner bcz she knows she has to deal with ARS at every step.
