So much drama & so much of rona dhona happened but it was so entertaining. It also gave indepth insight on the upbringing of Neil. Felt bad for him. That guy needs support & confidence. Maybe after marriage with Teju, with her giving support & confidence, maybe his character will improve. But kudos to his sister & mama today, who kept on pushing him to express what he wants. Hats off to teju's guts, she clearly said no to this marriage despite of all the consequences & kept on signalling Neil to say No but she got so disappointed after Neil's response. She even left the mandap after that, but Neil being adamant for not to leave the mandap & to proceed ahead for marriage, going against his entire family stole the show.

Special mention the precap, Sanam looked way scary & creepy in his angry avatar & scared the hell of teju. Be it the family drama, TejNeil love story or Rituraj's obsession, ghum's content is gonna peak from now on. Hope trp audience supports this season now.

I think he'll be more interesting then that Thing from Ghum 1. Rudra had an ongoing thing for months with Teju, she confess her love and wanted to marry him the had actual relationship, unlike Virat and despo bhabhi

He's upset not cause he love her but can't see her with someone else and not chasing him.

Contrary to some members of the forum and reddit, I really don't think trp audience sympathises with Rituraj. They infact like the villain aspect of him. Because the episode of rituraj rejecting teju got 1.5 trp (where ritu kinda looked like a villain to most of the people). And if the audience actually sympathised with ritu the episode where teju rejected ritu got just 1.2 trp (so I don't really think that the trp audience thinks ritu is bechara Or really like him). Infact I believe that the audience actually likes neil because the episode where neil tells juhi the truth that got the highest trp of 1.3.

So I believe the show is going in the right direction with teju's resentment, Neil's suffering and rituraj's villain arc

I'd still say the show can become a sleeper hit if instead of pure villain/Rakshasa who must be defeated, they make Rutu a gray character and bring a parallel female lead for him who complements him (Like a strong professor or someone in academic field who hates things like music and rockstar) and tell their nok-jhonk wali love story.

As for Neil, I feel Neil being tortured track will bring TRP because it can open in many directions:

Track 1: After being tortured by Teju, Rutu and his own family, Neil meets an accident and loses memory. Rutu threatens Teju to bring the Pradhan family on road leading Teju to bring Neil's doppelganger (who can be a tapori who flirts with every woman he sees) to protect Pradhan family from Rutu. (like Zee TV's Jamai Raja track)

2. Pradhan family kicks Teju from their home after Neil's assumed death and Teju goes to Mumbai to live alone where she meets an aloof businessman who looks like Neil but who already has a daughter. (Kind of like Ghum Season 2 with Savi and Rajat)

There's so much inspiration in ITV itself and as per ITV history, TV shows get record TRP when the male lead dies and many shows went from under the scanner to top TRP grabbing just because they killed their male lead and brought his doppelganger.

Tbh the production have got really good actors to play the main leads who are great at acting esp Param and they should utilize it.

Also the show will get good trp during the marriage track not record breaking but still good and the upcoming promo has also got a lot of people excited
