Inshallah is tricky. After SLB ditched Salman for Devdas, I can't imagine why he would want to work with Salman again. It's not like he can bully Sallu like other actors.

I feel Salman needed to push for that Rakesh Sharma biopic. That would have initiated the third act of his career. Now he's busy becoming the Mithunda of the 90s.

Sikandar crashed further on Thursday with collections of 4.75 crorre nett. This is a drop of 45% after the film dropped after the film dropped 55% on Wednesday and there is a further drop to come as certain areas still remain elevated due to Eid. The circuit like East Punjab saw ridiculously low collections on Thursday but Delhi / UP was okay comparatively due to Eid leftover.

The film has almost 84 crore nett on the board after five days and its lucky the film released on Sunday as its unthinkable what would have happened with a Friday release as the story could have been over before the holiday period even started. Despite the film starting with a 25 crore opening day the film is going to crawl to a 100 crore nett and it would be no surprise if the film has not reached 100 crore nett in the first same days.

A fate of the film is very similar to the likes of Zero and 83 with similar cost (including remunerations) and the box office numbers will also come into a similar range. The film is a bigger flop than Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan due to it being more costly and the biggest flop for Salman Khan since Yuvraaj in 2008. The collections of Sikandar till date are as follows.

Sunday - 25,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 27,00,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 18,50,00,000 apprx

Wednesday - 8,50,00,000 apprx

Thursday - 4,75,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 83,75,00,000 apprx

It seems to me that Sikandar is meant to be for Salman what Ra.One, Fan and especially Zero was made to be for SRK (and - to be fair - LSC for Aamir)...

Imo, it had to be this way to explain Sanjay's (Sikandar's) endeavour and also state of mind and emotions. I really am surprised about the lack of understanding for Salman's performance although I agree to the flaws in the narrative (e.g. lack of background-information).
