The big news from the toss is that Rabada is not playing tonight. GT, interestingly, have opted for just two overseas players in their eleven. Surely they could have had Phillips in the side and then subbed in Rutherford to give their middle order further muscle? Maybe they want to have more fast-bowling depth, and hence the inclusion of Arshad, who is also a handy left-handed batter.

No changes for RCB, meanwhile, and that is not a big surprise. Why fix something that is not broke?

Jigar: "GT should find a place for Phillips in the team. He deserves a place in XI purely based on his fielding and his bowling is a bonus. Also they have Sundar who is not utilised yet, surprising. "

Tussi great ho Blunt ji smiley36 and yes he should be well rested. Kisi ki jaldbaazi or playing in comparatively trivial IPL games can take a backseat.

Big roar at the Chinnaswamy as the players take the field. The RCB chants are up and running. It's going to be Mohammed Siraj with the new ball, and he is no stranger to playing over here.
