💯 agree with editing, it was botched, guess this is the downside of them giving the full scene

Just my feeling that Mannat understood Vikrant had no way, so was using the payback excuse but I could be wrong since there was also a scene where she was talking to herself about returning the money . Felt this due to her jovial self in the Mezbaani scene and her taunts didn't seem serious.

Vikrant I felt is like stuck in the limbo and where he is BDB zoned and it will be tough for his to get out of this with Malla hanging around his neck. Not sure if I am over reading this but today felt Mannat noticed how Malla held Vikrant's hand and took him out of the outhouse

Bobby Guy is really good, but he gave me the creeps with his beta beta

What i felt was Mannat is taking the money issue seriously.

She knows eventually it would have to happen, she has to return it, and him saying it at this juncture made her feel helpless, she has realised it can be used against her. So she is now wary and alert. She trusts Vikrant but this is a debt she also has to carry. Towards the end, she told him, that his family hates her, so if he continues to protect her, the hatred will only increase.

Somewhere this show also shows the differences in class, and how little money means to people who have it, and how much it means to those who don't have it.

There's a saying.."if, you are miserable, it's better to be miserable in a Mercedes than in a tramway car". Don't know whose quote is , but it has been used several times in different ways.
