I took a break from most serials and enjoyed some Turkish, Scandinavian, and English shows, as well as IPL and WTC. Then missed some local drama. Decided to look at the current offerings.

I couldn't believe it myself, but I started watching Karthigai Deepam. But only after the forced wedding. Sammy, aka Samundeshwari, does not look like a MIL, can pass as an elder sister to her daughters.

Checked the other dramas, did not like the current arc of Anna, Idhayam, or Sandhya Raagam. Getti Melam ippo than konjam soodhu pudichirki, with everyone getting to know that Vetri tied the thaali on Tulasi. Ayali looks good, the heroine seems strong and brave, but her personality at home is meh. The hero has no expressions.

What are you all watching?

Karthigai Deepam is like Mission Impossible. Amma was alive and escaping from kidnappers, then decided to jump in front of a truck to save her son, died, and was cremated, all in one episode.
