Not liking the message they are trying to give. It's important to give love, respect and rights to wife but maa ka kya. Betey py sab sy zaida haq maa ka hota hai. Muji is not fullfilling those rights. That balance should be there between wife and mother.

I don't think they are so close that he will go and hug her..he sought blessings from her and explained he was only living separately and not cutting ties with the family..there was also a scene where he mentioned he never felt it was a home but a school and his mom a principal..it would have been out of character to show him emotional as she was a big reason to why he was leaving..the mom may not be evil but she is toxic and for them to have any healthy bond, she would need to change first...

Also in this case, at least durdana is thinking about muji. We have never seen him thinking thinking about his mom. Yeah she is not a best mother but muji is also not a good son too. It's like tit for tat.

I hope that writer may work on this aspect.

Ok let put that hug aside. When muji left the house did he even once try to call or message his mom? Yeah she is not a best mother but she was being single mother, who look after the school+ her kids.

I feel both of them need to change. Yeah it would be great if durdana will take that first step.
