Shahid is cordial towards Saif , and is actually friendly with Kunal Khemu.

The thing is last year, Shahid smiled at Kareena and she ignored him and that went viral. Post that after Saif attack where media wanted controversy, Shahid had a very mature and emphatic response in spite of the cold shoulder that Kareena gave.

If you look at the video it is Kareena who is going ott. Shahid has been the same since they broke up. Maintained a distance and cordial. Kareena initiated the conversation and hug, he reciprocated. Also in the end he tapped her shoulder for the exit.

Shahid also greeted Kirti and Madhuri, even Bobby and Kartik too.

Tbh this is how exes behave if they were genuinely in love. And Shahid and Kareena did love each other it was very obvious.

Yes Kareena moved on and probably cheated too but that was almost in the end but she did love and support him. Sometimes it just doesn't work between people.

Here it was more of Kareena being cordial and friendly more so after the incident with Saif as Shahid had a genuine reaction and if she would have given him the cold shoulder she would have been massively trolled.

The hug was a bit ott and definitely a pr from Kareena to showcase her in a better light but the beginning was genuine probably because of the past and to be nice to someone who was empathetic to your loved one when you were in trouble.
