When Mannat comes to Mezbaani for her interview with ARS, Malla dresses her up in fancy clothes from her wardrobe to impress ARS. As she leaves, ARS notices her getting into an auto and gets suspicious and follows her to the chawl. That's the first time she sees Harneet and presumes she is Mannat's mother.
