This gen the lead couple is acceptable irrespective of how annoying, immature and hypocrite they are. And yes their 2rs cringey romantic scenes which is beyond bland is one of the reasons.

Some people still call Ruhi a villain but she hasn’t done even 1% of all the nonsense Delulu has done. She didn’t hid the secret about Abheera’s kid. And Abheera who’s self respect is Eid ka chand..which conveniently pops up in certain tracks while rest of the time she’s happily doing jhadu, pocha and welcoming her criminal Maaa and getting insulted.. Fact is Abhimaan are exceptionally incompatible and aren’t meant to be together. By now they should’ve known this. Abheera can never adjust in a joint family, she tried but failed. It would’ve been better if she had moved on.

Or their story would’ve made sense if makers had taken leap post Ruhaan past revelation and them becoming better versions of themselves.. but who cares all fans want is gulu gulu bed rolling scenes.. As long as illogical trip and fall and other romantic scenes are given story can be a complete mess and fans will happily accept..

Okay I will respond to this. I never said you were one of the people who watched it because you hated the leads to troll them. In fact I never even pointed out the people in the forum, as there are other websites like X & Reddit where the leads, actors, writing & everything has been shown to be abysmal according to people, yet that same audience will watch the show online & promptly comment on it. So I was giving a reference that when people who hate everything about a show can watch it, may be people like us can also watch it even if the "red flags" you mentioned were not that glaring that it affects my viewing pleasure. Maybe coz I watch fiction as fiction & if I really want to take it as a learning g experience, I hopefully use my better judgement to focus on the stuff that can help me in real life rather than trying to change something I have no control over. So the only choice I have is to watch it or not - not control the writers or others who watch. I hope I have explained my POV in line with your question

It did not sound relevant to my topic due to brevity and certain things like 'comparing generations' were not even in this post. It sounded more like mocking than a response to my post. Because of a woman’s idiocy and recklessness, a mother lost her son, a man lost his brother, his unborn kids but they were wrong to grieve, they were wrong to expect basic decency of giving them space from Ak, they were extremely wrong to call out her dumbness which resulted in deaths.
