It's a major development in Armaan's character. This season will be counted as best season of rishta if Poddars face downfall and KP-Vidya get punished for their misdeeds. Sometimes u need to choose yourself, above the destructive, controlling, manipulative decietful elders. Armaan had to take that decision not for Abhira, but for himself. Always wanted Armaan to leave PH for himself, now he is going to leave for himself. TRP viewers will love this track because of phenomenal performances and real progression.

Same. My ideal ending will always be that Temple wedding on Teej and moving away. Far from Udaipur. Now I might not have the same enthusiasm for this show but the part of me that will always root for ABhimaan as individual characters and as pair, would love to finally break the toxicity barrier and take that long-awaited step

The best part of their reunion for me was when Armaan just looked at his mom with those unbelieving eyes & Shivani showed seeing him when he was a baby to being such a big boy (I say not as for her he is just that). It when someone you love has seen you after so long & cannot believe how beautifully they have grown. Then she puts her hand near his eyes & cups his face & neck to hug him, like she was feeling him for the first time as her "Aaru" while Armaan gave into that hug like a little boy who was feeling that warmth of his mom's embrace after so long that he had missed for all these years.

All 3 actors (even Sam) did brilliantly well to showcase the milan, even if the technical team didn't really support them too well

Oh, Aps.. You've described the scene so well. That part was so well done. Shivani's hand gestures, Armaan looking at her with those teary eyes. They're both in disbelief about it all. Armaan has become an adult now, but with his Mummy he'll always be a small boy.

Sam was very good as well. Abhira was silently watching the mother-son reunion unfold in front of her. All three actors were excellent, even if the editing team sucks.

The only good thing that RK did was give refuge to a mentally disturbed woman and pretend to be her son ..but given that she was not on the streets and was being cared for at an ashram, why did he even pull her out ..was it more because he wanted a relationship rather than because he wanted to help Shivani …if it was the former, why should he be applauded ….he was merely finding someone to share his life with ..instead of a wife or a child, he chose a mother ..good for him but how does that make him someone who should be applauded …I don’t applaud people who choose to adopt ..I have two best friends who have adopted kids ..and neither family thinks they’ve done something great ..they are grateful to the child for bringing joy into their lives …

So yes, I don’t really see how RK is mahaan ..and what does he even know of the circumstances under which Shivani and Armaan were separated ..how can he make bombastic statements …it is but natural for Armaan to feel gratitude towards him …but honestly asking to be rewarded for his supposedly selfless gesture by granting him either Shivani or Abhira …makes his entire gesture transactional and ugly …and reiterates the point that he was not motivated by selfless love or kindness but rather by his own desires and interests…

And after the initial part, Siddharth Shivpuri was hamming majorly .,,the whole drunken drama had no value for me personally either from a character perspective or from an actor perspective 🤷🏻‍♀️

Speaking of logical things, RK also knew Kv's kartoots regarding Ar's mom/ Shivani.. Considering how he dislikes Ar and Poddars, that should have been one of the 1st things he would have blurted to spite Ar.. But seemed he had a memory block on that..

Armaan was feeling guilty for not finding his mother sooner, but instead of letting him dwell on the past or playing the victim, Shivani encouraged him to focus on the present and cherish the moment.

If it had been VVV, she would have given a lengthy eassy about everything she endured over the years and how deeply traumatized she was.

Thank you for pointing that out, as even I noticed it. Shivani believes in living in the present, which was visible in her interactions with Armaan & even RK. Be it cherishing Armaan & the moments she has with him now, to truly appreciating RK for everything he has done for her all this while, Shivani is such a well thought out & sorted character. I also feel that Kaveri would have definitely felt threatened by Shivani's demeanor in the sense that she would have thought it would be difficult to mould her the way Kaveri wanted for a badi Bahu & Shivani's simple background wouldn't have helped either

First things first, the much awaited reunion was great!! because the actors were great and they were able to make us feel for them with less words and more emotion.. they were both so spectacularly on point that even the short scene touched all the right chords..

That said, DKP needs to learn how to hold just a tad longer onto certain scenes.. their screenplay is honestly shocking! They take the audience from oh wow to oh no in less than 2 minutes and that's where the problem was for me

Because honestly what was the urgent need to insert that annoying Kiara Abhir scene right after the Armaan Shivani union today? As if it couldn't have waited until tomorrow (or actually never been shown) instead they should have shown the meet longer, with a bit more talk before jumping to talk about return to PH!

And also.. I'll admit the actor who plays RK did better today than he has done all along in the show, but his dialogues unfortunately didn't make me feel for him at all. I understand he's upset but the way he said whatever he said felt more about just not letting Armaan have a win rather than the fear or pain of losing his mum he's been caring for all these years and let's not even talk about Abhira cos there he's just delusional.. I mean he was literally using Shivani like a bargaining chip and that just took away any sorry feeling I had for him when he started talking! But anyway.. I guess that was the point of today just so that he can say it was all a test tomorrow!! So whatever.. I'm just glad he's out of the way for now...

Finally, Vibhuti and Rohit were phenomenal today and that's full credit to them and them only.. because nothing else was working for/with them...not the BG, not the dialogues and certainly not the editing.. and in just glad we'll get to see some more of these two with Sam adding on to the good performers rather than having to watch the likes of Vidya and Madhav (which also we'll have to bear a lot of in the next few days).

Well obviously, as he wanted to make Armaan feel awful for having abandoned his mother & assumed her to be dead all these years, despite that bit having absolutely no hand in any of this - that was when that choice would have given Armaan the guilt that RK wanted
