I am glad he apologized sincerely for everything he did impulsively. The scene was good. the issue is we didnt get to see the buildup to this properly. we only got a few bharni scenes where he missed Abhira and then the guilt over his false allegations when some dude badmouthed her. but the stepwise progression to this realization was rushed/skipped in many parts. He should have been put in situations making him see that Abhira was right to pursue case against vidya for the sake of justice, and how she faced a big dilemma too and had to pick the side she did.

even his most recent interactions with Abhira in the park where she offered him water, or when she came looking for him to tell him something important etc, he was quite rude.

Even when Madhav pointed things out he didnt really get a proper monologue or FBs to introspect .

The only thing he felt guilty about was the allegations to destroy career. but before that, his behavior to Abhira in the matter of the Vidya-Abhir case was unwarranted . The poddars collectively acted super arrogant despite Vidya being the offender. And then Sanjay was cruel enough to try and prove Abhir mentally unstable which led to Abhir attempting suicide. Yet Armaan made it all about Abhira picking her bhai over him which it never was. Actually he picked Vidya over her and she simply stood by the right thing. She ultimately bailed Vidya out but he still remained angry and cruel. Despite knowing Abhira, he assumed she'd ask for alimony or send chappals whereas Abhira refused to believe he'd ever file fake case against her until he told her. She knew he didnt plan to provide fake evidence against Abhir. She suspected that Armaan only may have collected evidence and kept it accessible in one drawer. That's the difference. Abhira even after seeing him at his worst never assumed things impulsively against him and kept thinking that he'd come back to reconcile. Armaan kept on MUing her more everyday despite seeing how much she cared. All that should have come out as a proper introspection before today's Abhimaan scene to improve the impact of the scene.

But by rushing Abhir-Kiara-Charu stuff, giving pointless SS to Vidya, RK, gunda-Kaveri stuff they made the buildup to this scene really pheeka. Thats why imo it didnt land as well as it should have.

like on his sangeet (ruhi se shaadi)...his confrontation with dadai was impactful....uske karan armaan se sahanubhuti hui thi....and his regret looked real.....

I think his apology is real but the impact of scene could have been better if they had shown his realization over time. They only highlighted license issue
