Making this movie had been a challenging task - far more expensive and laborious than Lagaan and Swades. Kudos to Ashutosh. And great that the movie was very successful.

It's unfortunate that Ashutosh couldn't repeat a successful outcome with the following movies he directed.

As amazing as the songs were and as good as the leads looked, I don’t know a single person who sat through this movie twice. Total snoozefest.

Lol we still watch it when it airs and even watched this 2x in the theaters. :)

It was Miss Rai's last notable role and film success where she mattered.

After that, all downhill from there.
