Meg Lanning: Not our best night. We got off to a reasonable start. RCB bowled well in the middle phase to peg us back. The batters got in but weren't able to carry on. RCB were too good. Great fight showed. You just need to find a way to win games. You get to play pretty soon. We will come back better in a couple of days time. It did get easier as the night went on. The RCB team took their game to us. The new ball nibbled a little. We were off to a good start. RCB were just too good tonight.

Wyatt-Hodge: We said before this game, I spoke in the huddle that lets do this! Had the best seat in the house with Smriti batting like that. Our catching has been exceptional. She keeps me very calm. She was coaching me a little. We bat a lot together for the Southern Brave. Great franchise. Everyone has been so welcoming. The slower balls were gripping. Some helpful messages from her. Pleasure to bat with Smriti.

Mandhana: The bowlers did a great job. Restricting them to under 150 was a great thing. Wyatt was brilliant in batting. The strategy was to bowl more pace. This ground never plays the same twice. The way we started was brilliant. As a team we are proud of our bowlers. Ekta got hit in the first over but came back really well. Me and Danny have batted so many times together. Last game, we were gutted as we couldn't get a good start. We kept going today and the shots came off today.

She got going in the first over with a couple of fours and never looked back. Wyatt also joined in the fun and batted well for her 42. The century stand for the first wicket killed off the chase in the first 10 overs off the chase.

Perry and Richa Ghosh were there till the end to see this off. DCW had managed to win a close game the other night. But slipped badly tonight. They are third on the table after this game. Still early days but RCBW are looking very strong and they now top the table.

Renuka Singh Thakur, Player of the Match: I have good memories from this ground. I got the Player of the tournament while playing here. The crowd is really good here as well. I keep working on a lot of things. I have been working on my pace. I want to try out more things. I focus on my body as well. Sometimes I go wide of the crease. And sometimes to get rhythm I bowl from close to the wickets as well.

RCB have started off on a great note. They are the defending champions and are playing so well. Most of their bases seem covered as well. But these are early days in the tournament. Other teams will patiently wait for the chinks in their armour. We won't wait more and will log off. Cheers!

DCW should sort collapse issue

Shafali gives good start but randomly throws her wicket

Lanning also not scoring this season

Jemimah plays but only sometimes

Capsey also not good

Annabel Sutherland also threw her wicket away today

Sarah Bryce bats sensibly

Bowling is decent

Rooting for them

But if they will play like this then they might be at bottom of table

They are repeating same story like WPL 2024 Final

gops: "Extraordinary is an understatement. I don't think I've ever seen Mandhana stepping out and moving around the crease so frequently in an innings. And the best thing to watch was how she decided to muscle it instead when Sutherland began following her in the 13th over. An innings of brutal genius."
