I continue to be bothered and befuddled as to why kaddu thought wahaj's grand comeback to geo after tere bin should be playing 3rd lead to Maya & Usama. Kaddu gave Feroze a ML-centric KAM3 for his comeback after Khaani. KAM3 was Feroze's pov, his story, his journey . Even Muneeb Butt, Imran Abbas and Fausal Qureshi do not play second fiddle in Kaddu dramas. I fail to grasp why Kaddu and Wahaj thought this is the best option for Wahaj's comeback. Kaddu can offer every other A lister even B+ lister main protagonist roles but not Wahaj? It's not even that SMD had a Mahira & Fawad in the lead that playing 2nd fiddle would still be an honor. Nor was the cktr do well written and meaty that ss didn't matter. BA was so bland, onne note, passive and inert. He had no arc, no independent tracks and relationships, no exploration of traumas, no variations, minimal contribution to driving the plot. Just counting screentime made me realize how repetitive Wahaj scene/shots became. Over and over again the same 2-3 expressions recycled, not making sense why they are there half the time and adding no value-add. Even from a performance perspective, this offered nothing substantial. I fail to still grasp how this was the best comeback vehicle for Wahaj that was meant to sustain or elevate his popularity or craft. Every single new Geo upcoming show offers more meaty ML cktrs than SMD.

Wahaj's popularity has been just used by Kaddu and Geo to make people watch this shitty project..and Wahaj should know how to chose script and what kind of stories people want to see in today's age...

If Wahaj really had to do SMD, he should have done Ammar’s role . It’s negative but far more meatier and had margin to perform. Usama couldn’t do justice to it

Yes even Hamza Ali Abbasi could've got praised if he played ammar

Besides being downright bad, SMD is also so depressing. Either the characters are crying or always miserable. 39 episodes gone and I am yet to see a single light or funny moment.

That slap of sadaf is outright shocking

I don’t think anyone really cares about the ending or who ends up with who now. What I regret is the missed opportunity with the cast this show had.

How is Ammar just walking around in the office in the next episode? Has he no self respect?? How is this not awkward for him?

He is and always has been a coward . I am interested to know his ultimate fate but I doubt they would show anything.
