HC and PR have an amazing screen presence and their chemistry together was awesome, which made Abhira a treat to watch. And for me that is why Abhi and Akshu remain iconic.

I never liked Akshara-Abhinav pair, neither the characters nor the actors looked good together. Abhira were destroyed by bad writing and too intentionally to get Akshara-Abhinav set-up going which failed eventually and gen 3 had to end.

Agree I've never liked JS as abhinav and neither was his pairing with Akshu, og abhira were looking awesome till their wedding after that it's the story which forcibly took a drastic turn, characters jazbaath badal gaya overnight. Abrohi always felt forced like how they were supposed to look. JS totally lacks the energy to carry AS character. Had it been someone else it'd have looked much better. IMO JS is the misfit of all yrkkh main characters. The character of Akshu was a big letdown, her being the legacy child with iconic name ppl were anticipating perhaps a character arc, character growth than the liar and beeghi billi she's remained till end. Ghum ppl did a better job of starting an altogether unrelated story and characters with the new season atleast no fighting of right and wrong between several ppl.

Yes the Og Abhimaan vibes are just more cultish-funny chill. Maybe because all their scenes were their golden period and good scenes unlike these days it’s all their sufferings all day everyday
