There are memes out there making fun of his parents. Ranveer must be proud of turning his parents into a joke in the name of dank humour.

A mistake is simply a mistake.

Who cares? It's not a big deal. It's just silly at most. Logged back in to see all the drama.

I learned about his existence years ago on science channels, dismantling his pseudoscience and misinformation; he should be called out for that. I actively avoided his podcasts since then.

Update: The extreme reaction towards his terrible joke is insane and ridiculous. Giving death threats and going after his family is a new low. 🙄

A interview is an interview, and comedy is comedy even in poor taste. It doesn't change most people's opinion of Ranveer.

So far, the only issue I see in this controversy is going overboard and losing control. Just quit selling the same thing repeatedly like a complete mo-ron.

If this was his actual Ranveer show that this took place, then there could be some healthy grounds for a somewhat justifiable complaint.

But this was a comedy-gig that he was joining in on as a non-comedic, fun-loving participant. He'll surely successfully bounce back from this!

I am sorry but this was absolutely disgusting. This is not comedy and this is not 'a mistake'. He is an adult and likes to sell himself as this massive spiritual and wise guy.

I don't care for him but if this shuts down his podcast then I am here for it. His comedy is not only crass and offensive - its downright vomitous and unacceptable.
