Going by youtube comments no one even wants bilal sadaf together anymore. I am done with her character...there is not a single likeable thing about her except the fact that she is beautiful.

Exactly. The show has stopped making sense long back. Confused characters, confused makers and super confused audiences.

I only watch Wahaj scenes nowadays.

The only watchable thing in this show is Wahaj as BA. His characterization is still better and at least you can romanticize this character.

Usama has done this just for getting noticed because of the names attached...Haseeb/KRQ/Wahaj . He knew that his character would be getting most screentime in a project which people would be watching for Wahaj,so he would be noticed. That's what I understood from his interviews.

Tbh Sadaf isn’t bothering me so much. I saw enough early on in the show to believe that she was developing feelings for Bilal. I also don’t feel like she ever really loved Ammar. I also believe that she wants to hurt Ammar back. She’s confused but I think she genuinely wants to start something with Bilal and it may just be because she needs to feel better about herself. It’s not the best to start a relationship so soon after and she needs time. Her feelings may develop as time passes and she heals. Personally I would like to see how Bilal and Sadaf progress. The problem is that it isn’t what we’re getting. We’re bombarded with Ammar scenes. He could have just been buzzing around in the background to serve a hindrance rather than taking center stage.

Also Ammar scenes are long! They include him walking into somewhere…for example, the scene of him walking into his office was soooo long. It lasted forever before he finally discovered some documents. The scene where he left his friend’s house and walked down the stairs was equally long. Compare this to Wahaj’s scene where it starts with a close up right away with him saying Sadaf is Namdaar Mirza’s daughter. I swear if that was Ammar, he would be standing outside and would slowly stroll in, cry for another few minutes before they actually got into the dialogue. I just don’t understand the reasoning.

@bold for them to progress,Sadaf's character has to show some arc,has to show some growth. May be the mixed emotions Sadaf feels is realistic and fine..but she looks really toxic with no good qualities to balance it out. She becomes something else with Bilal and she becomes something else with Ammar...I understand its because of different emotions she feels towards different people. But where is the character consistency than?

I am sorry I can’t relate to anything happening between bilal sadaf and my experience is just ruined because of extremely poor female lead characterization which is made worse by the direction.

In terms of the story's development, when I was at episodes 13-14, I was blaming the scriptwriter. But then, around episodes 21 or 22, the scriptwriter mentioned in an interview that he had written 26 episodes of SMD and if it continued at this pace, it wouldn't finish before episode 35. He also added that a normal director would have finished SMD between episodes 18-22. The fact that this series turned out to be garbage is entirely due to the producers and the director.

I dont know whom to blame for this drama to be a garbadge but its just that whether less episodes or more episodes, the dialogues, plot and characterization cannot be changed..so definitely writer has a huge role for making such a bad script.

He should just retire because he doesn't know how to write proper screenplay..his attitude of "I can never do anything wrong,I can't write anything wrong" is the one of the main reason for this show to be such a disaster..

I am just waiting for the last episode...I can't take this torture anymore..

I think a lot of people are having trouble relating to her so you’re not alone. She’s just not annoying me as much but I definitely find issues with her. I think if Ammar took a backseat then maybe we could see some character growth. She needs time away from him but he’s always there. Too much is centred around him and it brings out the toxicity in Sadaf. Maybe if they gave us some exclusive moments between Bilal and Sadaf then we would see some development from Sadaf’s side. Like I enjoyed their moments together last week even if I didn’t agree with Sadaf’s action. Then when all of these other scenes come in and take precedence then their scenes lose momentum and we’re distracted by everything else. Basically I feel she needs to spend time with Bilal to any developments in her feelings or alone for us to see any character growth…Ammar brings out the worst in her.

Having said all this, Sadaf is definitely a weirdo. Even her mom and her brother were looking at her like something is wrong with her.

So sadaf and bilal knew each other from childhood ? Mirza sahab used to bring sadaf to bilal house. Chotu bilal who must be around 13 years if sadaf was 6 years old( assuming age gap is seven years) never met chotu sadaf during childhood?

Bilal face glowed while asked diwan Sahab about marrying sadaf and as soon as he mentioned Mirza sahab never wanted it he felt sad.
