That was I think Vidya mistakenly took Akshara 's photo given by MG to find Akshara and made tamasha and Madhav didn't notice it was Akshara's photo or a blopper...

Kind off. Rohit in hi IV did say that he kind of apologised to Vidya for doing this shradh and tells her that he wills till consider her his mom.

See this was exactly what I was saying - Armaan is going to be extremely conflicted in this track, especially when his belief in what he has been told all this while about his mom will be questioned & he will also have to choose between Vidya & Shivani

I absolutely hate everything about him and his character arc and how it has been needlessly and insensitively weaved into the Shivani angle there were about a gazillion ways to introduce a jealousy angle.. this was the absolute worst of them all.. and the actor is so below par that his already annoying character just makes it all the more insufferable
