Gautam is bad because he is hiding his real self in front of Kotharis as the "Ghar ka Damad". He is horrible because he threatens Prarthana, abuses her and forces his wishes on her.

But

Prem is pure hearted despite hiding his identify, betraying the love of his life despite many chances. Prem is well intentioned when he forces Raahi to accept the mother who abandoned her, accept the family that abuses her and serve them ALL woth her life.

How are the two different?

Makes no mistake Gautam is WRONG. But Prem, Shahs sahi kaise.

Gautam ko toh saza mil bhi jayegi, yeh toh.................
