That’s why we are saying that they have fooled the audiences. They sold the show purely on their chemistry and people expected that. Hira and Usama were completely invisible in the promotions or posters.

I agree about being mislead screen time wise. I don’t feel it was sold on chemistry though. At least not to me. I felt they were really forthcoming about this being one-sided. The OST showed Sadaf signing Nikkah papers with Bilal walking away heartbroken. I also knew this would be an ensemble cast. The other names are big enough that expected them to have proper screen time. What I wasn’t expecting was to see so little of Wahaj and so much of Usama and Amar (doing the same thing over and over again).

One sided or not, the promotions were focused on just Wahaj and Maya’s romance . Audience are not wrong to expect mainly that.

SMD’s turn will come too. He knows that SMD is dragged to ep 36 or 37 and we are already at ep 34 with no ending at sight.

KRQ is not that good writer that he can't write any bad script at all. He writes some scripts and some bad ones. There are so many dramas of his which are not good like mohabbat tumse nafrat hai, you Dil Ka kya hua etc. he himself is problematic person he just put blame on director production and other team members if drama is not working. He thinks he is a biggest screenwriter Pakistan has ever seen and he can't do any mistake.

Haissam is a very good director and has a very good track record they got humayun yumna haissam and drama flopped badly still he is saying they changed things and all just accept it that the story was pathetic. How much they can change things in a story it can be some small things not whole story. Yumna was coming from there bin haissam after JBG still it was a bad one.

Sometimes he said you can change my script at all and actors selected after I approved and now saying directors added things and all and make it flop drama.

I don’t agree completely. There is one line that the mom says that she is scared of Sadaf because she sees her interest in Bilal. There is an initial point where she puts her full faith in him and something starts to develop. Granted it died before it had time to flourish thanks to Humsha (and her own biases).

I expected a one-sided romance to be honest. They said that in most of the teasers and quite honestly there was enough in OST to hint that she married Ammar. I just thought they would have more scenes together and I expected more Wahaj. They marketed heavily in his name so expecting to see more of him is reasonable.

Also a screenplay is more specific than people think, It isn’t just dialogue but scenarios and expressions too. I blame Haseeb and production for taking an already slow script and slowing it down further. I feel he definitely added some of the more mundane moments in but I feel like some of those glances were part of the script.

yes he did add wahaj's extra scenes, making him power walk with all those bodyguards , sitting at the pool, playing piano , sulking in bathrobe, driving around in those posh vehicles. Basically making him an eye candy to incash his popularity , also making 40 episodes out of 26 episode script with all those extra scenes which were not needed.

making masala dramas arent Haseeb’s cup of tea. They tried to make smd for masses with high budget as a typical masala love story at which they failed miserably.

Also haseeb needs a really good script to work with Otherwise he's lost in his visuals.

They had scenes together right from the beginning and honestly they were comfortable with touch even before the wedding (him grabbing her hand, her pushing him). None of that is in this and of course they knew that. They know what’s in their script. Just some photoshoots with them standing close doesn’t mean that it will be TB. They wanted it to be successful but I’m sure they were fully aware that those scenes just aren’t there.

if you look at the tere bin PS , they went with the theme of the show, both looking angry, her grabbing his shirt , him holding her wrist. While with SMD PS , all are close up, romantic, like they are deeply in love. PS doesn't go with theme of the show. They are all misleading. I mean she's getting married to amaar but her ps is with bilal ? How does that make sense? All promotion ps of sadaf's wedding festivities are with bilal which were posted everywhere, I think very few pictures were posted with amaar that too tucked away in between some slides.

you have to watch the whole iv. he said i gave my script to 2 new directors first time and they both ruined it.
