I suppose that even though the audience has to pay 'peanuts', the differences to the regular ticket prices are paid by whoever (Ambani? Akshay? XYZ?) so that the box-office number gets as high as possible

The producers are paying the difference..which is making their budget higher..so either way it is a flop..just that it be a 100cr flop which sounds fancier than a 30cr flop..
Watched the movie and to be honest it was a good one…very straight to the concept…
I just find it hilarious that's it's the corporate scammers fans who are most "disappointed" with Akshays tactics to bring people to the theatre's. 🤣🤣🤣
Dude was giving out Dunkis tickets with everything from a Plate of Momos to a small pizza to a bag of chips. Reliance had so many Jawan tickets lying around that they were asking their employees to go watch it again.
