I love Abhimaan but before loving Abhimaan I like their individual characters regardless of flaws. To be honest Abhira's emotional dependence, emotional attachment and inability to provide personal space to Armaan & his family is unhealthy, which made her lose her self-worth. He chose his maa during the times Abhira needed him the most, infertility track and accident track or scenarios like public humiliation by Dadisa. He must not have opposed Abhira if not supported her against maa. Abhira somewhere knew the consequences of her actions, she was preparaing herself for it too. Abhira herself signed divorce papers as she couldn't trust him.

Now when they made Abhira fight for justice, why make her react in a way that it appears nobody but only Armaan is important all of a sudden, specifically when she was fine with the idea of his absence in her life. Maybe because he didn't give up on her, he was her first family after mama. She can bail out a criminal for Armaan. She can defend MIL more than her own mother, allowing abuse by MIL because of husband isn't a trait of people with healthy attachments & love.

I couldn't agree more, in liking their characters individually with flaws and all

That is the problem here it feels like a cycle. Ab only had Akshara, remember Ab told the chorus gang she never had a BFF. Armaan became her everything. and even though she now has a family her big brother but she still can't live without Ar.

Aise toh Armaan bhi behek jata hai toh usse sahi thodi bol sakte hain. Ab wrong hai toh hai....Armaan ho ya Abhira...both are adults and responsible for their own actions.
