Just waiting for the next Anamir scene. Hope it’s worth the wait. Really looking forward to Shahmeer confronting Ana.
I am loving Ana as well. She is no damsel in distress. But I hope she shows her vulnerabilities as well especially with Shahmeer.

Saw the Fucshia review and they also like Ana because she’s very independent and a smart thinker on her OWN. They said Shahmir usually needs someone to guide and support him - in this week it was Dadi and SHO. So far he hasn’t really gotten his “moment” yet. In the world of Duniyapur you need to show your lead have this moment by now. Ana has gotten so many of them starting off with killing the Qasais to letting Shahmir and Nimra go to her moment of betrayal. And now going off to talk to the poor because it’s the right thing to do and the smart thing. There’s a lot going on in her head. You find her interesting and layered. You also see her humanity.
Shahmir needs to get his moment too.
Just saw it and was going to write about it too. First time they came close to actually reviewing things about the show. There's a lot of building up for Shahmir to come into the gangster element but there hasn't been a defining moment purely bcz of his actions yet. Ana is v independent and keeps turning things around with all of her actions. I agree that we need something like that from him as well since that expectation is going to be there.
And they also pointed out one thing v well that Shahmir is v expressive- at any given moment you know exactly how he's feeling and his lost soul tendency makes him seem relatable. Ana on the other hand is v Stoic and you constantly have to guess her motivations, how much she's affected by something and how she'll react, that's why she also keeps surprising us. Her moments of vulnerability are like finding the metals you have been trying to mine for a long time. Her regret & pain is visible in her eyes even when she's being fierce but she never lets herself just sit down and feel those emotions. This is also bcz she has no one to share these emotions with.
I would really like to see a more independent Shahmir honestly but when he comes on screen, he just makes you emotional ki yeah he's confused and you start sympathizing with him so much that you don't feel like demanding things from him since he makes you feel the pressure he's going through.
Ana has proved that she's not only a smart and capable leader, but also compassionate enough to keep all those considerations aside when it is something that really matters- by letting Nimra go. You want Shahmir to have that kind of 'hero' moment too. Even though the stature of his character is really raised in your eyes- like the attachment and rooting has been there right from the beginning. Also bcz on his side despite being a questionable character, Nauroz Adam takes away all the 'heroism' medals. You want your hero to overpower that manipulative man. But I love Shahmir & his dilemma is so realistic that it is difficult to demand things from him.
That being said what makes the fuschia people think that we have no emotional involvement with Ana? Have they not sat back and just thought about her motivations. Ana is dependable for the viewers, you know she will do something and you know that she's not just going to let things be. We don't need her crying every episode to be in sync with her emotions. Ana is love.

Exactly he needs to know, if Nawab and Adam can see her soft side- Shahmir deserves to see it more. And it should be her this time initiating the romance. I have hope about this because of their cliff scene when she's in blue and says "Aakhon pe bharosa mat kro, aankhe dhokha deti hai" . It looks like she's trying to get his trust back - but guesses don't really hold true with Duniyapur so will have to wait for the actual context of the scene.

That is imp and she has had him at gunpoint so many times. Shahmir just needs to remember that Ana is also the person who saved his life twice and let Nimra go. He needs to do what he can to save Nauroz but he can't kill her. He closed his eyes out of pain everytime somebody reminds him of her betrayal.
Remember we were discussing that how fun it would be when they are in their enemy zone and people will remind them that they ran away together. It's so painful in reality bcz Shahmir gets the entire burden of guilt whenever he's reminded of what happened. People around Ana are too proud of her actions to remind her and they think it was one sided.
I think the fact that you need to think for a moment to understand Ana is also why people were unable to connect with her at the start. People are not used to unexpressive female characters, with male leads everybody keeps finding the inner heart. Whereas here Shahmir constantly wears his heart on his sleeve. Plus in the start so many things were happening around Shahmir- the whole Nimra thing was so deeply moving & you wanted him to regain power to protect his sister. Both of their brothers dying was sad but there was nothing that could be done to make it right, plus with Nawabs being in power it was practically a license for that evil buddha to torture Nimra. That's how Team Adam got its popularity.
The fact that Shahmir is so open and relatable and has done nothing wrong (since his 'moment' has not come yet). The first time he really went all the way to turn things around - it was for Ana, we were in sync with his emotions and we could see Ana melting as well (since her emotions were real). Her betrayal came as a shock to the audience as well bcs she had us convinced. The way her stature had been raised in my eyes when she released Nimra, the betrayal made us question everything, so much so that no one is sure about how much of it is real. And people are not as obsessed as us to sit and thinks about why Ana did it, when she planned it, how much of it was real. They should have given us an explanation honestly. She basically gave us trust issues. Yet I find it surprising how much I like her.
Some people think that she never loved Shahmir. I think the fuschia people too think that. That will break my heart more than Shahmir's. He emailed the pieces to me.
