I don't know about other religions but sanatan dharma neither justifies nor allows wrongdoings under any reason be it parental love , friendship, 'indebtness' and other made up reasons.
Sacrificing justice to others, other's happiness for own selfish reasons including that of familial attachment is ultimately wrong.
Offcourse everyone is attached with their family more, but that doesn't gives a free pass to become an animal and do wrong with others who aren't family.
