2024 really needed this Diwali double header!

If you want to watch thiss one, woh Japanese waali ramayan dekho and then first Singham dekho.

Shetty Saab ne story ke liye ramayan chepi hai and nostalgia ke liye Singham 1😅

The only thing I honestly liked was RS and his bad English and his nok-jhok with Akshay. KKK is just a plot device job bas kidnap hoti hai.

Tiger's second fight scene was epic

Bichaara Ajay Devgn, scenes mein aaichyaa gaavat naahi, sach mein, Dil se aaichya gaavaat bol raha tha

I didn't really find DP annoying, I didn't really care for her. I still feel she'd make a great cop if she is written by a good writer.

A scene I liked was Arjun taunting RS of being a corrupt cop. Shows ki iss universe mein kisika toh character arc hai

The movie seriously is a mash of everything.

Biggest problem is the bgm Singham 1 is the bgm. The whole Singham 1 gave you goosebumps and Ajay Devgan literally sleep walked the role. No expression whatsoever while even in fight sequences in Singham he was all in.

Akki and Ranveer were good the only saving grace. Deepika the whole entry and comedy was cringe. However her breakdown and action were good. She should not have ott role leave that to Ranveer.

Tiger fight sequences were good but rest not so much.

Kareena was cringe except kidnap and her giving bhashan of Ramayan was just weird.

Arjun as villain , I mean come on you had such a big team to defeat him.

The reason why a Ramayan or Mahabharata connect is that they have very powerful villains and the fact that underdog hero defeats them is the whole point.

Here Jackie should have been the villain than Arjun. The whole cinematography also was too clean. The grit was missing or the style of Dhoom 1 and 2.

I actually didn't mind DP (like I said before) but she tried to copy RS and it shows (and she shouldn't. HNY and CE mein it was tolerable because of the tone of the movies, yahaan it's not) Anyway, yes, if she gets serious scenes, she would nail it as a cop. Which is why I feel her movie should basically her be a cop who turns vigilante (like proper proper vigilante and not just seeking revenge from a few people) and after crossing paths with Singham (who's on another case but ends up to see her murder someone) he tells her to drop it (they can work round one of the very few good dialogues of SA, where Arjun Kapoor tells Kkk that Singham is too honest and is arrogant about it)

Even I used to complain ki ek Arjun Kapoor ke liye poori force laga di, baatao, but he has an army, so I'll give them that, and Maana ki even with Daya, chances of her getting kidnapped were super high (coz he was just one person) but in TS's home? Ya'all got to know she is safe and backup itna slow? Wahaan ki police team kahaan thi? Also, ussi ghar mein kaun rakhta hai and invite a literal ARMY to your house? Move her to a safe space. Aur yeh log SPF (ya jo bhi woh Kashmir mein tha) uske head hai

Aur reunion ka time Dene waale kaunse gunde hai yeh? Pookie behaviour. K-dramas ke fan hai shaayad. Arjun ne Netflix renewal ka paisa nahi diyaa isiliye IRL hi kuch fix dhoond rahe hai.

I liked Arjun's character as a villian. His motivation was something different than the previous villians of the universe (though otherwise bahut ghise Peete hai, it's already done in Spiderverse) could he have been better, yes. Did the writing give him any scope, I don't think so. His PR tired hard to sell him as a great villian, but Jackie's one scene was way better and no way he is matching the unhinged behaviour of Prakash Raj and both villians of S2.

I didn't expect cinematography to be gritty or anything, green screen lagake Delhi dikhaaane waale aadmi se technical utna expect bhi nahi karte unless it's stunts. (Isase better he should have just invited the 5 on Khatron ke khilade and made them save KKK in some stunt, kitno ka paisa bachta)

I was one of the few rare ones who actually had liked the trailer but didn't watch the movie in theater after reading the bad reviews. I finally got to watch it on OTT and deeply regret my decision. This is surely one of the worst movies of 2024.

First of all, I don't know how Rohit Shetty decided to spend so much money on this movie without a solid story or script. Even though it's inspired from Ramayan but there's practically no story in it. Rohit Shetty gave 2 messages, first to Gen Z that situationships mein believe mat karo. Bhagwan Ram aur Sita Maiya ki tarah true love mein believe karo and give 100% commitment to your relationships. Second, Ramayana is not a myth. The events did happen and there are lot of proofs on that.

Acting wise, Ajay Devgan was bland. It seemed like he is not interested in acting anymore. Bas paisa kamana hai isliye Singham jaise successful franchise mein kaam karo.

Kareena was good in some parts of the movie. Deepika sucked as Lady Singham. Ranveer seemed OTT to me though I liked his scenes with Akshay. Tiger was good in whatever limited he had to do. Akshay has hardly anything to do in the movie. Arjun was surprisingly good but the the moment he would start laughing, the scenes looked cringey.
