Mann Mayal also gave us in the first few episodes the set up of how Mannu and Sallu fell in love. And as much as Mann Mayal irritates, the writing and characterizations were far better than SMD.

Exactly the characterization was way more better..in mann mayal..unlike SMD jahan aadha time Sadaf ki samajh hi nahi aayi.

Agreed that Mann Mayal had good character development. Samira Fazal builds good characters and story but around the middle of the drama totally makes a mudpie out of her stories . Just like Mann Mayal and Jafaa . Great start , characters but then in the middle and tail end - SF totally loses her way.

SMD however is a beast of its own. From start to finish - its serious scenes are hilarious and characters are detestable.

Probably because he will feel guilty, he did had hand in making this marriage possible for talli Ammar

Bilal better do something to punish Ammar once he finds out. Otherwise he will be a passive wuss of the highest order if his response is only to mope and drink that his love got beaten up by her husband.
