Tea, Day 1: A much better bowling display by India in this session but they only have one wicket to show for their effort. Bumrah and Akash Deep probed away at the start of the session and kept things really tight. The duo troubled the batters especially Akash Deep who went past Khawaja's outside edge numerous times but luck didn't go India's way as the edge kept dropping short of the slip cordon. Khawaja went past fifty and got out in the softest manner possible. Labuschagne has battled on, copped a few blows and is almost looking like his old self. Is this a slow pitch? Khawaja's wicket and the outside edges not carrying suggest so but we will have to see how it plays when Australian pacers have the ball in hand. That will be a long way away because India still have 8 wickets to pick and they don't seem like getting them in a hurry. Back for the final session in 15 minutes..

bowled him, Head is out shouldering arms!!!!!!! All those exclamation marks because it's not only an early dismissal in a series he's dominated, but also an entirely uncharacteristic one. Perfect length to hit the top of off, perfect line to induce the leave, and wicked inward seam movement with a ball that's into its 67th over. May have left it expecting it to bounce over? Misjudgment of length maybe? Or of line, because it was that tight, in-between, confounding line too? Terrific delivery
