AM k potli mein jitne characters leke aata tha lagta hai wo khali hogaye so he's recycling them. Back to square one

Why does he need to say anything? I missed a lot of it, but the way it's going the jury (Vivian, Eisha, Shilpa, Chum, Shrutika) are all defending him pretty loudly.

Baap re, Vivian, KV and Eisha are going all out.

What’s this I’m reading, KV did well as lawyer? Can anyone share what arguments were made?
