I think they should've put Usama on the poster. Just for getting high YT views, they only put Wahaj & Maya on the poster. I think an ending like this is going to make people feel cheated because of the poster they are expecting Bilal & Sadaf's end game.

Sadaf is so despicable that at least I for one do not want Bilsad as endgame.

Just because the makers told us she is the heroine, they expect me to root for her. But even if she realizes her mistake, uske character main aisa hai kya that makes her and Bilal a good match. Bilal has put her on a pedestal but knows her from jack. I can't literally think of a single positive quality that she is SHOWN to have.

Kadwani and Wahaj has already given us a better version of SMD, Fitoor. The only difference is that Wahaj was the villain there otherwise story is the same. The female lead there is also stupid and married someone else . But we got proper chemistry and everyone wanted Wahaj to get the heroine. Here the reaction is completely opposite and now majority doesn’t want Bilal to end up with Sadaf.

I’m okay with actual romance being right at the end but show some development. Why are we stuck watching this Ammar, Dania, Sadaf love triangle for so long? And Wahaj is barely on the show anymore. How are we supposed to see any development, when he isn’t even there? I honestly feel the last 4 episodes could have been shown in 2 maybe even less.

isko koi wedding function ke liye bhi hire na kare. He did not edit out Wahaj ki chalangon wala dance and the shot he did keep in was where Wahaj's foot slipped. Itne fuzool editing capabilities ke baad koi wedding function ke liye hi na bulaye.

She was forced to marry someone else in Fitoor and his family humiliated her and family in Fitoor. She was a bit more helpless in Fitoor plus she loved him back. We saw romantic scenes between them. She didn’t marry Faysal because she wanted to and resisted him for a while so she was still likeable to the audience. Wahaj was the second lead in that, yet we were rooting for him. He was also enjoyable to watch on screen. Usama just isn’t fun to watch at least for me. He’s just very generic.

That’s why I said that Fitoor was better. These things could have been written in SMD too with Sadaf. But now it’s way too complicated and we are not sure who she really loves. If she falls for Bilal now without a divorce then that would be infidelity.

Actually, the SMD poster is misleading. The real stars of the show are Hamsha and Ammaar, not Bilal and Sadaf. If you add up the total screen time for all the scenes, let's say roughly 1000 minutes. Out of this, at least 700 minutes are for Hamsha, 700 minutes for Ammaar, 500 minutes for Sadaf, 100 minutes for Bilal, 250 minutes for Dania, and 100 minutes for Zaviya. Even though they’re not on the poster, Malik, Zubeyir, and Bilal have about 50 minutes in total, and Farzana has 200 minutes.

In fact, the one sitting on the chair in the poster should be Hamsha, with Ammaar on one side and Sadaf on the other. Bilal shouldn’t even be on the poster. This is a huge disappointment for viewers and fans, it's a completely wrong marketing tactic. They tried to sell it as a romantic love story, but it’s not.

i said this before and i will say it again. if these romantic scenes are some sort of post-wedding epilogue in last episode, it will just confirm my view that krq never wrote this script as a love story or romance, and that the epilogue scenes are added by the director.

the script is really a meditation on different approaches to love, and how these different approaches to love are shaped by different motifs. For Sadaf, it is the perception of others; for Humsha, it is jealousy; for Bilal, it is childhood trauma; for Ammar, it is possessiveness; and for Dania, it is an obsession. The primary protagonist in this is Sadaf, as it is her journey we go on, and all other characters are connected to her. Everyone else's stories revolve around hers only (no one else has a track independent from Sadaf, but Sadaf has tracks independent from other characters), and impacts Sadaf's journey and growth. No one else gets their arc and journey explored the way Sadaf's is.
