I m not sure about western shows but i can't think of any South Asian show where audience accepted EMA , even if it was thrown between ML and FL

It's hard to believe that writer can risk that

There was one web series of Ronit Roy and Mona Singh which showed EMA and was a hit ,but there too audience was interested in wife's story after she was cheated

There won’t be any EMA. That would completely go against what KRQ wrote in MPTH

Yeah EMA is not shown much in Indian shows

I said this about Wahaj as well before as Bilal Abdullah but it is much more amplified in case of Maya ke inki grip character or uske graph pe kamzor hai. This is beyond just writing but also a performance issue.

I'll still say it's a writing issue... Character pe grip toh actor tab banayega jab character ka proper graph hoga... When there is logic to what the character is doing..

What happened in the past 2 episodes... Basically ammar didn't pick up the phone... Thats it....

.. Sadaf went from giving humsha trust bhaashans to slapping ammar for just going to daniya's place... Its beyond rubbish writing... No one could save this character...

... This isn't complex emotional turmoil but making the character do whatever you want so you can take the story where you want without putting in the effort to craft a proper screenplay

I feel like Sadaf has lost her sanity. She could tell Ammar is keeping things from her and it was driving her insane. Of course Humsha is there to make things a lot worse.

Sadaf tells Ammar to just tell her the truth because she already forgives him…and then slaps him 😂 The slap apparently makes Ammar fall over. Why do I feel like he loves being a victim? Even the way he sat up crying like he’s an innocent little baby.

Bilal wasn’t as nice to Ammar as he usually is. I didn’t know if he was just in business mode or if something was up. There was so much tension in that business meeting
