Australia will not take the follow on even if all are out soon because one of their main bowler is injured. They will bat for sure.

That will be lunch. 32 overs, 116 runs and 2 wickets in that session. There was also a little 25-minute rain break in there. The morning started in dramatic fashion as Rahul was dropped by Smith in the slips off the very first ball. Thereafter though, while Rahul was extremely resolute, Rohit Sharma's woes continued and he nicked off to Cummins. Jadeja joined Rahul and India finally found some solidity. The duo shared a 50-run stand and things were looking good. However, Steve Smith made amends by grabbing an absolute screamer at slip off Lyon to get rid of Rahul towards the back end of that session. Nitish Reddy who joined Jadeja has looked quite good at the crease though and there's still a lot of work to be done for India. They still need 79 runs to avoid the follow-on. In other noteworthy news, Australia are a bowler down as Hazlewood left the field owing to some soreness in the calf. We'll be back after lunch.
