To be honest Duniyapur has a lot of execution flaws. Direction is not great. But the chemistry that Kushal and Ramsha have is soooo good that it whitewashes all these flaws.

Also he might be shooting around her to stop her momentum and prevent her from running away. Bcz there's no way he would kill her from behind while she's running away even if he had the intention to kill (which he wouldn't have).

But betraying Shahmir for something very bad done by their elders doesn't make sense as they already know so many unforgivable things done by their elders to each others' family like killing Ana's brothers, torturing Nimra.
