Modi mentioned an anecdote about how when he visited China he had heard people listening to Raj Kapoor songs and he had sent a video of that to Rishi Kapoor who was very touched by it. Alia decided to add that when “you [Modi] went to Africa” people were listening to my songs. This definitely seems like a classic “making a moment about herself” situation.

Her talk about songs brining people joy and happiness even if they don’t understand it was very nice. She could have just said that without inserting her own importance into the equation. That being said, from the ones I have seen all of their statements seem very rehearsed and scripted. So maybe someone else screwed Aloo over at the scripting stage

Dumb but then she had kareena karisma ridhima and neetu sitting with her so i am sure she must not have felt dumb despite obv being dumb..IYKYK

I think the issue isn’t her question but the way she inserted herself and her importance while asking a very basic question
