Was I too sensible for my age? I never liked the toxicity of gul khan shows and even though I used to watch itv I never really found all those push and pull romantic. Gul khan type of dramas turned me off. I guess even though kekta had weird ass story of swapping the couple and all, she barely had that amount of push and pull. I was more into the romance when the leads get together or verbal fights and tu tu mein mein. Even when I used to watch American teen series (I was in mid teens when I started) I found all those over sexualization of teens pretty odd. I remember getting the irk when Arya had a relationship with Ezra (I think that was his name) who was her teacher and according to the storyline she was like 15-16 extremely uncomfortable in pretty little liars. It might have been because I grew up hearing the phrase 'Mata, pita, guru, daivam' which is like the order of important positions held in our life. So that entire relationship was so damn weird for me. Same thing with the vampire diaries. It was hard for me to believe all of them were 16-17yr olds. They basically showed a 16-17yr old Caroline sleeping around with half of the town
