She did not do IVF. Ruhi is Neil and hers natural baby. She was likely already pregnant as after a day or Akashu's doctor revealed Arohi was pregnant.

People conveniently forget all this.

It's clear that Abhira could conceive the carrying part was risk. So couldn't they have opted for a surrogate? A gestational surrogacy?

Even then when she got to know about abhira pregnancy, she spoke nonsense first still she was the one who tried save abhira from fire. She was fine until manish took akshara name. Her husband started neglecting her, her in laws talked about giving preference to only waris.

It was abhira who herself said she wants the baby to get vidya's acceptance.
