I am on board with most of this but what confuses me is his 180 flip with Amal. The way he’s running to her, getting her flowers, reassuring her about his mohabbat and loyalty. That isn’t needed when before he barely gave that girl the time of day. Just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. And makes his character look confused a bit trash tbh.

But maybe he’s supposed to come off as a bit trash and I’m okay with it. Mehru said na that she has to “fix” him - he clearly needs a lot of it. Despite his feelings being real, he’s still using people left right and center for his own benefit. The Amal thing is just a tad far for my own taste. Would have preferred that he kept boundaries until he could wrap his head around the Mehru situation.

Yeah I hate it too but it’s what we are getting I think. Writing issues are there but I’m still enjoying the ride.

I think he still thinks he can control the situation. But love is not calm still water, it is a raging torrent that sweeps you from under and you can drown in it. This is one situation he is not going to be able to control. I don't even think he realises what he is doing with Amal. He thinks he is making Amal feel better because she is in the situation because of him. He also doesn't want to acknowledge he is in love with Mehru out aloud. He wants to convince everyone that the marriage with Mehru is one of convenience especially Mehru. I am not even bothered with him doing stupid things, I just feel bad for Amal. She is already so vulnerable and she is going to lose it when she realises that he is in love with Mehru.
