he will not feel ashamed of himself easily he will feel guilty or hurt by hurting mehru untill I can understand he was obsessively loved her but he have overconfident too that after marriage no matter his what side come infront of her he can able to keep her with him and can make her willingly accept their marriage in some point so he was manipulating every one be it his mother,brother ,Amal ,her parents and mehru and her family too so he can tied her with him with marriage so untill his overconfidence Break we won't be able to see how deep his love for her . the moment truth comes infront of her I can imagine her reaction ,anger and hates towards him will make him depressed and that will be the time he will realised that he can lost her .
