In YHM there was an advocate character who was fighting Ishita's case..She gives befitting replies to both Raman and Shagun's arguments in the court. So I'm guessing if makers are copying yhm, they would being him back for that character.

Yes they have blatantly copied YHM .. but audience do not have a reset button it’s all about Rajat ka DDP which is kindergarten .. teddy bear flossy stuff compared to what Savi has gone

Audience is supposed to empathise with Rajat thakkar who is riding in the audience created by Sai n virat ( half is which have disappeared.. as Ghum used to 3 plus in Trp )

A 30 plus man is still yearning for a wife who cheated him cannot give time to a kid who yearns for his love .

He doesn’t care to know about savi’s past .. who her parents were ( the kid and her aspirations) ishan was invested in her ..( I felt icky seeing teacher student romance ) but Ishan cared deeply that savi becomes an IAS officer one of the reasons he refused to accept her as a wife because she was still his student and it was unethical..

He gave up his life for her . forget virat ( I can’t ) but Ishan was also a much better man than Rajat thakkar ..

For Rajat savi is a glorified nanny .. and savi herself has put herself in this pitiful situation.. it’s time she remembers something from her mother ,father and grand father . That ethics is the most important .. she remembers the sacrifice ishan did to save her .. and gathers her wits to give the upsc exam . She’s a smart girl why is she sitting at home doing nothing

Finally watched the episode.

The only thing that made me happy was Bhavika's acting.

Rest, Ghum makers are extremely talented for inserting additional toxicity. I don't remember Raman bringing Ruhi into their discussion but here Rajat had the audacity to compare his self-imposed lachar condition with Savi's love for Sai. I so wanted to break his head open.

Nonetheless, I'm glad to see Savi's reaction. While they have copied word by word from YHM, I think they have added a couple of their own, and I loved how Savi made it clear that it was more than her feelings; she was publicly humiliated, and Rajat had no right to do that.

Also, I think it's better that they are showing it this way as there hasn't been any significant progression in their relationship, unlike the OG. Whatever progress they made, Rajat himself ruined it.

I'm a bit excited about Jagtap returning. At this point, makers would be completely blind not to understand that no one is interested in watching this hotchpotch version of YHM.

Ghum 1 was based on Kusum Dola, but they changed their tracks significantly both for the better and the worse. I won't even mind another bomb blast as long as Sai is with Savi. I believe Jagtap can guide Savi and remind her of her aspirations.
