Honestly I don't think so. They will want the public to know that Mehru(sister of the victim) and the one fighting against their family has married Shah and therefore there is no bad blood. What Saman is saying to the uncle is that despite this marriage(which we will get rid off at a later stage), I only regard Amal as my bahu.(all in my opinion)
