I don't think this 3 4 months leave is applicable to all woman.

I was just watching this interview of voice artist -.Parul bhatnagar l She said that she use to take her 10 days old baby to work. So I think it varies.

Also, because she said that it was comfortable space. She was on good terms with everyone in the studio.

Abhira in Poddar firm is the same situation. It's a family firm.

Around 26 weeks leave in India is mandatory, out of which 8 weeks can be taken before delivery and it's all paid.

I am not a mother. Neither plan to be one anytime soon. So I don't know. I just shared a real life story

As the Maternity Benefit Act (MBA), all women are eligible to take a 26-week maternity leave

Woh to main bhi nahi hoon, this is what I see in office. May be work schedule or some urgent project was pending so then she had to go. Because this one law is very strictly followed in India.
