Feel like pain in the heart seeing her break down even though saw many posts mocking her , saying Ruhi deserves it she stole the show ...great work from Garvita

It is very difficult to impress and win over the audience as an antagonist it happens but rarely

Can you blame her ! A woman whose new born baby was snatched from her , is a dangerous woman .

Power of betrayed mother will be unimaginable...I am with Ruhi all through ti's those two cruel , heartless men watched it .

Ruhi can take her revenge for the tears she shed because of them. Both horrible brothers gave her Baby to Abhira to " play meri BSP game "...Shame on them !

But it's his character that make many like me his biggest fan. There was John snow also who was man with honor and hero Character. But Jamie outshines him COMPLETELY

It's very important for people to understand that just bcoz someone like grey shaded or not always morally correct character, doesn't mean they endorse such wrong things.its just we could relate to such characters and can understand from where they are coming from.

Exactly! We are not justifying all of Ruhi's actions but we can understand her motive behind those actions. She is not always right but she is not wrong every time as well.

The Indian audience simply doesn't have the range to appreciate nuanced or morally grey characters. For them, it's always black or white—a character is either a saint or a pure, scheming vamp. That’s why Indian TV shows are written the way they are, with a perpetually "bichari" FL to garner sympathy. The audience has this bizarre tendency to overlook the most idiotic, gaslighting, or straight-up toxic decisions made by lead characters just because they’re the leads. They can mess up a hundred times, manipulate others, and still be labeled as "victims."

If you look at most vamp arcs in Itv, they’re often women who were gaslit or led on by the ML. Usually, the vamp is positioned as the ML’s girlfriend or fiancée, and the ML two-times them, leading them on while inevitably falling for the FL. When the so-called "vamp" starts hating the FL or the ML, somehow she becomes the villain while the ML is painted as the victim. This trope has been running on a loop since the Ekta Kapoor era and still thrives today.

Contrast this with Hollywood, where morally grey or even outright villainous characters have massive fanbases. Walter White from Breaking Bad, Logan Roy from Succession, or even Joffrey Baratheon—that hated little sh*t from GOT—are all despised within their stories but celebrated by fans for their layered performances. People line up at Comic-Con to get autographs from the actors who play these complex roles.

Meanwhile, in India? Itv audiences are busy yelling at their TVs and cursing the "vamp" with, notepads in hand, tallying up her sins against the FL. If anyone even dares to defend a character who isn’t the FL, they’re attacked like they’ve committed a crime. Imagine expecting depth from an audience that only wants to worship their bichari leads while demonizing anyone who so much as frowns at them.

Reddit comments sums it well 💀🤣🤣

Exactly 💯 , indian audience have a water tight compartmentalization for characters either they are goody 2 shoes or a vile vamp who is nothing but cunning and empty of any emotions except hatred and jealousy. If you are in the vile vamp compartment there is no coming out of it because you can do whatsoever but it will be dismissed but your smallest mistake will be scrutinized to death.

With Ruhi I feel this is happening, and even all the other women casted who are not the love interest, are given layered character where there is jealousy, angry, agony, vengeance but audience would dismiss totally. Only it will be taken that they are irredeemable till the end.

While I love a good protagonist but itv couldn't even do that right, sooner or later the independent, self reliant female lead would become this people pleasing doormat. Her sense and logic goes to bin, especially when she falls in love. Suddenly everything is about family with no identity of her own. They lose their charm for me and become the copy paste goody 2 shoes of another serial. Making then this one dimension character who becomes bland if not sooner then later but this is inevitable.

Regarding the youtube comments and this regressive and absurd thinking, Internet anonymity really let people show their true self. I mean no one in real life would actually make such statement 🤷.

I really hope someone could fix this narrative that if you have a discussion which is not full of bashing about characters like Ruhi, that doesn't mean we are condoning all her wrongs as well. We know she isn't right in every aspect but still there could be other aspects which are discussion worthy.

Till the time people supporting FL's unconditionally and antagonizing every other female character who is not a FL supporter, exist, this narrative would never get fixed. Unfortunately majority of the Indian audience who watch ITV dramas are too fixated on sympathizing with the main leads just because they are they main leads or they are being portrayed by the actors they like and also because for certain group of people, like the elderly, these FL's represent certain ideal morals that they want in their children.

Like how the FL is so respectable towards the elders no matter how toxic the elders are. They sympathize with how great the FL is to make such sacrifices and work hard to make sure that the family stays together forever.

Uper se co -parenting nonsense is another level cringe! Sympathy scenes like yeh baccha tumko matashree bolega are sooooo triggering and insensitive smiley3

I hope jab sach samne aye tab rohit ruhi ko abhira ke is illogical nonsensical operating drama ka part banne ke liye force na kare.

Ruhi should never say yes for such an illogical nonsensical coparenting drama. Normal log yeh kabhi nahi tolerate kar ka ayege ki unka baccha unke allawa kisi dusre ko bhi mumma papa bole and hum normal log koi vamp nahi hai just because we don’t want to coparent our child with other xyz couple.
