Mahnur will get murdered. In reality it was Sherry but we viewers do not know who. Sherry hatches a murder conspiracy which will somehow involve: (1) getting himself framed first, (2) then deploying Ushna whom he paid $$$ she needed for her bro's cancer to get himself acquitted, (3) phir implicating Shuja for Mahnur's murder while we viewers will think Sherry is the one who was wronged, went looking for justice and took revenge from the real culprit. One reason he will implicate Shuja is because Sherry actual hates his brother and that childhood resentment had just built up over years.

What do you think?

I love this theory SO much but my faith in PTV writers is at an all time low. Would they dare to show the hero as the bad guy? Do they have the guts?

If done well this would be amazing. Because the backstory has already been set up. You see Rahim getting on edge around his brother. You see his jealousy and resentment. Very calm before the storm type of vibe. Sherry is doing the cold looks well.

Also Shuja is amazing and this character is that person you LOVE to hate. The pranks, the flirting, the inappropriate advances and that whole history with girls and their families complaining. Something has to happen that will finally push this guy off the cliff in terms of being Maa ki aankh ka taara.

He’s so SMITTEN though. Idk I feel like I need more of his bad side to show. So far they’re pushing the Acha wala beta narrative. And he’s been a good boyfriend. There was edge to that scene where he dismissed Maheen. And the overcompensation was a bit much (but kind of cute) so maybe there are two sides to him.

From the teasers it does look like he has some obsessive tendencies. But right now him capable of murdering his loving GF seems like a stretch. But who knows… next few weeks will develop his backstory more so maybe we will have more of an idea about him. Abhi tou he mostly seems “good”

Also is it me or has Sherry gained some weight?

This writer wrote Deewangi. Danish's character was pretty much a bad guy. Also in my theory the reveal that Sherry is a bad guy and mastermind happens in the end. Throughout most of the show, viewers will think Sherry is a good guy.

No but in Deewangi it was pretty clear na. Yahan pe I mean bilkul end pe flip ker dena hero ko… maybe it won’t be digestible for the audience. I hope gutsy storytelling ho but I feel like writers do so many cop outs just because they think audience accept nahi karay gi.

Shuja ko dekh ke laga yeh cute sa bachcha kya villain banega jo ab tak prank hi karta hai logon ke sathsmiley36, villain vibes toh Rahim se aati hai mujhe.

Rahim doesn't like his brother that much, jaisa woh dikhta hai waisa hai nhi. I won't have a problem if he turned out to be a real villain of the story. Par surprise hona chahiye n convincing way mein.

Shuja’s character was a charmer but also a real piece of work. Pranks, also see him making another video in the next episode - maybe recording Aimen falling in the pool or something maybe.

But capable of murder? Perhaps not. You’re right woh conniving calculative vibes Rahim se aati hain. Definitely more to him than meets the eye.

Tbh this is what I thought too. Sherry in the poster wears a black glove....and yesterday the way he looked at Shuja when he was with his mother, there was certain resentment.

Shuja, forgetting his name, is more transparent. What you see is what you get. So for the audience he is the bad guy.....he is capable of hitting on Aiman, capable of drunk driving but his he capable of planning, plotting and murder ? I doubt that !

Also, there were a few lines in the teaser...heroine ne jisse hero samjha vo villain hai aur jisse villain vo hero. No idea who these lines are for tbh...Shuja or Sherry ? If this was an Indian movie, I would have said Sherry for sure!

In Ittefaq movie, the entire time we felt that it was Sid who was innocent while Sonakshi was the culprit but in the end it was revealed that Sid who seemed so innocent all throughout the movie was actually the culprit.

So, I love your theory as even i thought the same.

Imagine if Sherry suffers from a certain disorder and he is the one who murders Maheen and does all the plotting.....Aiman & Rahem fall for each other post marriage only for Aiman to find out in the end that he is the main culprit. Will he kill her ? Will he save her? Will he kill the man she loves ?

If the writer can pull off something like this then it would be amazing but do PTV writers write such complicated and experimental stuff ?
