It’s the fault of the script only. Even the ML of the previous season who was a great actor did bad in this show compared to his other shows.

I find samridhi, ropu, garvita, romit as same calibre actors who gave hit and miss performances.

I said in my previous comment that direction is so bad. And I hope this direction excuse is given to every actor in the show not just leads.
