Just saw the movie. The film entertains but moves in a direction that is so predictable. You see everything coming from a distance. The parallels that have been drawn with Ramayan is quite nice .Also the grand production design just can not be overlooked.

Ajay Devgn is a force of nature. But barring the initial car chase in Kashmir surprisingly there are hardly any action scenes from him.

Kareena Kapoor khan is grace personified so much so that you start believing she is the modern Seeta.Deepika is not as bad as the trailer projected. The scene where she breaks down in a funeral is quite impressive.

Arjun Kapoor is quite menacing in his intro scene and evokes terror. But as the film progresses the fear factor wears down considerably. He appears quite weak in the final reels. The way his character is eliminated in the climax is tame!

Ranveer Singh is quite good and brings the house down..Although goes over the top .Seeing Akshay and Tiger together brings back memories of catastrophic Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which had a similar climax!

Overall an average watch .

2.5/5

Thank you for sharing. Is it worth watching as a Deepika and Ranveer fan? Do they have a lot of screentime worth the movie's long running time?
